There are over 1600 kilometers of rivers available to fish in the Charente. Over 600 of the is 1st category (Trout). There are also over 500 hectares of lakes with over 20 species of fish including: Trout, Pike and Carp. A 2 week licence can be purchased for 32 Euros (2006) to allow fishing in all of these waters.

We also have a group of small lakes set in a nature reserve close to Latry where fishing for Black Bass with fly, lure or float is available for 7Euros a day. Help with booking or arranging licences is always available.
