If you arrive by ferry you will approach Angouleme either from Poitiers from the northern ferry ports or from Niort if you take the St Malo ferry.From Angouleme use detailed map below.
If you arrive by air into Bordeaux follow directions for Libourne and then Montmoreau and follow the directions from the D674 using the map below.
If you arrive by air into Bergerac follow directions for Riberac and then Villebois-Lavalette.

From Angouleme follow the signs for Libourne and take the D674 towards Libourne/Montmoreau. Approximately 400 yards before the village of Charmant the road crosses a railway line and turns sharply to the left with a large grain silo on the left. Take the next left after the silo and follow the directions towards Villebois-Lavalette D5 and continue using the map below.
