The Grounds and Swimming Pools

The Grounds at Latry are a mixture of gardens, woodlands and meadows. The grounds provide a mixture of places to play and places to relax. There are plenty of shady spots and the pool is situated well away from the terraces which are all private and southerly facing.

There are 2 flood-lit pools at Latry the largest being 12 by 6 meters and the small shallow toddlers pool 5 by 5 meters. The two pools are both fenced to the strict French standards with self closing gate and child proof locks.

For your safety and comfort, we take pool cleanliness very seriously: we have volunteered our pools to be checked regularly by the French health and safety organisation and we publish their results showing the chemical levels and hygiene standards of the water .

The garden areas provide a chance for seclusion and shade and there are plenty of sun loungers which can be taken to all areas of the garden. All terraces have their own garden furniture and barbecue.

The woods and meadows of Latry provide the opportunity to explore, fly kites, climb trees and watch wildlife. Extended walks and rambles lead from our grounds into a large network of well marked paths and trails.
